Anti-dumping duties: what buyers should know
The EU levies anti-dumping duties on certain iron or steel screws and bolts originating in China (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/191). Rates depend on the manufacturer, and not every fastener is affected – tariff code, product and producer determine the outcome.
We take this into account when selecting the manufacturer and preparing the quotation, so your costing holds no surprises. The currently applicable version of the regulation always prevails.

Which screws can I source from China?
Through BayPex you can source DIN and ISO standard screws as well as high-strength special screws to drawing: wheel bolts and nuts, chassis and engine bolts, pins and nuts for cars, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles and industrial applications.
Are there anti-dumping duties on screws from China?
Yes. Certain iron or steel screws and bolts originating in China are subject to EU anti-dumping duties under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/191. Rates depend on the manufacturer, and not every fastener is affected. We check this for your items before quoting.
